One of my favorite things to grab when I go thrifting are old wooden ROLLING PINS! Have you seen the things people do with these things to add fun decor to their kitchen? And it’s so easy! So here’s the three I bought for under $3 for each one. These were all regular size, but any size will do and different sizes in an old crock on your countertop could be fun!

To prep these, I lightly scuff sanded with 220 grit sandpaper and cleaned them with TSP. These ones were in pretty clean shape, but depending on where you find them, they can be in rough shape!

Next, I painted the handles using Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash and the round center in Fusion Mineral Paint Lamp White. **I am a retailer for this paint line, which I adore for so many reason! (Great coverage, built in primer and built in topcoat in the paint) and of course an amazing selection of colors! Get the paint right here ONLINE in my SHOP tab!

I ended up using 2 coats of each color and it was enough coverage on my end. Fusion dries very quickly when you paint in room temperature, so both coats took under 20 minutes from start to finish.

Last, I added my FAVORITE transfers by IOD (Iron Orchid Design) which is the LEMON DROPS transfer to a fresh pop to them. (You can also get these in my ONLINE SHOP right here). I sealed my transfers with Fusion Mineral Paint CLEAR WAX.

So, how do you think they turned out?

I hope you love them as much as I do! Along with this SIMPLE idea that’s perfect for any crafter at any level!
